As lead dental assistant, I ensure the office adheres to current CDC, ADA, and OSHA guidelines. I assist Dr. Oz in procedures and help patients feel at ease during treatment.
How long have you worked for/managed the company? When did you start in the industry?
I have been in the dental field for 10 years. I graduated from Porter and Chester in 2013 and have been in the dental field since.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is helping patients feel their best about any treatment and ease their fears of the dentist.
What is your educational/training background? Include qualifications and institutions, professional certifications and awards received.
I am a formally trained dental assistant and keep up to date on all current policies set forth by the CDC, ADA, and OSHA. I graduated from my assisting program in 2013 as student ambassador for the 2013 class.
What specialized skills, knowledge and/or talents do you use in your work?
I have worked in general, periodontics, orthodontics, and pediatrics. Along with working the front desk, I have done my best to learn as much as I can in the dentistry field to best serve my patients!
What are your most notable work-related achievements and/or awards received?
After COVID I was the first assistant to go back to work at my office. I researched all of the updated guidelines and keep up with researching the best ways to keep our office clean and safe for our patients.
What are your interests and hobbies outside of work (sport, family, community activities, volunteering, etc.)
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband Roberto, our daughter Quinn, and our two dogs – a german shepard named Kaiser, and a pomeranian yorkie named Felix. We enjoy hikes in Blue Hills and playing games together.

Overseeing the office running smoothly; patients being happy is my main concern.

I started over 20 years ago in dentistry first as dental assistant, then helping at the front desk and got into management 15 years ago.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Seeing patients happy from before and after results and treating each patient as they are my family.

I am a certified dental assistant and have taken management education courses at Yankee Convention in Boston. I am also CPR certified.

What are your interests and hobbies outside of work (sport, family, community activities, volunteering, etc.)
Love to be outdoors breathing in nature’s air, going for walks, and biking. I also volunteer with helping others in whatever way I can.
